One Fair Wage is launching a National Student Restaurant Worker Organization, to train student leaders who work in the restaurant industry to mobilize their peers around the issue. Students will share best practices, learn how to organize for better working conditions in their workplaces and also learn how to change policy in their states to raise wages. Student restaurant workers might be interested in participating in an initial training on October 26-28 in New York City to launch this national student worker organization.
