As part of the Black History Month 2025 theme, The Art of Resistance, we welcome you to join us for a reception and photography exhibit from 4pm-6pm on Thursday, February 27th, 2025 in the VPA Art Gallery. In collaboration with the UIS Art Student League, Reflections of Resistance: Black Photography Exhibit would showcase photographs from UIS students, faculty, and staff that highlight the experiences of resistance within the Black Community, as well as the day-to-day experiences of those within the community. Light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be provided.
