Savanna Aguado enjoys the University of Illinois Springfield because of the relationships she has built. “I like how friendly everyone is and the relationships I have been able to make with other students and staff,” she said. Aguado serves as the traditions coordinator for the Student Activities Committee, a member of Leadership for Life, the Student Nurses Association, and Active Minds. She also works for UIS Student Life. Aguado chose UIS because of its affordability and small campus size. Following graduating from UIS, she plans on becoming an international travel nurse.
