Verma works as an international student ambassador with International Student Services and as a front desk attendant at the Student Union. He is also involved with International Student Friendship and the International Student Association. Verma chose UIS because of the scholarship opportunity he was offered.

Kailynn Jackson-Green chose the University of Illinois Springfield for its close-knit community, which allows her to work closely with professors and classmates. She is a member of the Black Student Union, the cheerleading team, an orientation leader and works for UIS Student Life. After graduation, she aspires to become an investigative journalist.

Kiev Glasscock enjoys the enthusiasm and dedication of faculty at the University of Illinois Springfield. He was part of the Data Analytics House Cup and has been collaborating on research projects with professors. Glasscock chose UIS due to its welcoming atmosphere, affordable tuition and robust computer science program. Following graduation, he hopes to work for the federal government.
