Chidera Okafor chose the University of Illinois Springfield for the Capital Scholars Honors Program (CAP) and the small campus community. “I love the people here at UIS, they make everything better,” she said. Okafor is a student assistant at Brookens Library, a CAP peer tutor and the performance coordinator for the Student Activities Committee. She is also a member of the Christian Student Fellowship. Following graduation, she plans to get a job in technology consulting and continue to do ministry work.
