Future Plans: Become a doctor and possibly earn a doctorate in organic chemistry
Chloe Berna enjoys the University of Illinois Springfield because of the relationships she has been able to create. “I enjoy getting to know my professors and classmates in a more personal way and being able to really immerse myself in the community,” she said. Berna is the president of the psychology club, the treasurer of the Pre-Health Society and American Red Cross chapter. She also serves as a supplemental instruction leader for organic chemistry, is a resident assistant and a part of the Capital Scholars Honors Program. “I chose UIS because of the close-knit nature of a smaller campus,” she said. Following graduation, she plans to become a doctor and possibly earn a doctorate in organic chemistry.
Leadership is lived at UIS. Every Day.
