Autism in Classes - Recognizing the Signs, Supporting the Person

Join Dr. Jonathan Pierce, Assistant Director of International Recruitment, for an informative session on how to support and accommodate autistic students in your classroom. Autistic and other neurodivergent students often face challenging obstacles in life, including in their academic pursuits. You will learn about the history and increasing prevalence of autism, and how to provide a supportive and accommodating classroom experience for students on the autism spectrum. This session is highly recommended for faculty who want to be better prepared for autistic students, or who currently have autistic students in their classrooms.
