This year the Career Connections Expo will be hosted by the University of Illinois Springfield and Lincoln Land Community College and will take place on Thursday, March 21st from 11:00am-2:00pm in the UIS TRAC. We encourage you to add this event to your course calendar or share this information with students if it aligns with your course goals.

Additionally, we are planning a brief networking opportunity called the C2C Exchange (College to Career Exchange) prior to the start of the fair, to provide an opportunity for faculty and staff to connect with participating employers.  We will be sharing more details about the C2C Exchange for faculty and staff in the coming weeks, and hope you will be able to stop by. More information about the Expo can be found on the Career Development Center's Career Connections website.

In addition, to the Career Expo, there are other exciting Career related events coming up that you can share with students as well.  Stay up to date about upcoming events on our UIS Connection page (scroll to the bottom to see upcoming events). A few highlights include:

  1. Thursday, February 15 – Arts & Culture Virtual Career Panel
  2. Wednesday, February 28 – Midwest ACE DE&I Virtual Career Fair
  3. Thursday, March 21 – Career Connections Expo at TRAC

Also, be aware that the Career Development Center hosts weekly in-person and virtual drop-in hours for students called Career Suite.  Learn more about Career Suite and the Spring semester hours.
