In addition to serving as Chancellor, Dr. Janet Gooch is a clinical speech-language pathologist with a wealth of expertise in the field. This engaging program will explore the vital role of speech-language pathology in diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Highlights include understanding speech sound development during early childhood and addressing the challenges associated with cleft lip and palate—areas where Dr. Gooch has deep clinical expertise.
