Join us for the UIS Cares Food Pantry Orientation, designed to support students facing food insecurity. Just like many university-based food pantries, UIS Cares is not meant to replace regular grocery shopping but acts as a crucial resource for students during challenging times. At UIS Cares, we understand the importance of ensuring all students have access to essential food items, helping to bridge nutritional gaps and alleviate financial strain.

To access this resource, attending an Orientation session is mandatory if you haven't participated in one this academic year. This session is not required for those that attended a session during the 23-24 academic year.

During the Orientation, you'll receive comprehensive guidance on how to utilize the pantry effectively, ensuring that it remains a sustainable support system for our campus. Whether you're experiencing temporary hardship or ongoing financial challenges, UIS Cares is here to provide a helping hand. Sessions last approximately 20-30 minutes in length with no appointment necessary.
