Join us for our weekly LGBTea social gatherings at GSSS in the Diversity Center (SLB 22) on Thursdays from 4PM-6PM. LGBTea is an event that offers a comfortable, accepting, and non-judgmental social atmosphere for students with marginalized gender and/or sexual identities and allied peers.

For this Trans visibility week LGBTea, students will learn the differing ways to change their name in ways both informal (Such as through canvas) and formal (Such as legal). There will be resources available to the students so they can learn the processes, and how using preferred names can be affirming for individuals. There will also be crafting stations to make fidgets, accompanying the name change process information.
