Originally launched as a community effort, iSPI has grown to become the catalyst for the entrepreneurial ecosystem, supporting businesses and individuals with big dreams and bold ideas.
In 2018, our journey took an exciting turn when we were acquired by the University of Illinois Springfield. This acquisition marked our evolution into the first hub of the Illinois Innovation Network, further cementing our commitment to driving innovation and economic development in our region.
