Assistant to Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

Christina Ryan has a long history at UIS. Her father was one of the founding faculty members and she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UIS. She now works in Student Affairs, which oversees Enrollment Management, Financial Aid, Records and Registration and many other student support services. Ryan is the fiscal and business manager for these offices, going over budgets and managing policies and procedures. She says her job makes it easy to get to know students on a personal level, but she also takes every opportunity to spend time with them, including serving on committees, attending events, and supporting student life on campus.
