Dajah Lockett is president of the Zeta Phi Beta sorority chapter at the University of Illinois Springfield. She is also a Necessary Steps Program mentor. “I chose UIS for the size of the school and the diverse programs and the level of inclusion on campus,” she said. “I love that I was able to meet such amazing people at UIS and make connections to help build me into the person I am today.” Following graduation from UIS, she plans to gain work experience, while earning a master’s degree.
