Erol Ikiz is co-president of The Research Society at the University of Illinois Springfield, a member of the chemistry club, the pre-health society and is a published author. He is also a member of the Capital Scholars Honors Program. “I chose UIS because of the generous financial aid and small class sizes,” he said. Following graduation from UIS, he plans to attend graduate and/or professional school, with a strong desire to go into research.
