Jack Buerkett chose the University of Illinois Springfield in order to earn a University of Illinois degree on a smaller campus. Buerkett is the president of Campus Movement, a Christian ministry group that hosts fun events through the year, and a resident assistant for UIS Residence Life. When asked what he likes most about UIS he said being a part of Campus Movement and seeing its impact on students.
