Star Guides

Star Guides are undergraduate student employees. Star Guides assist in orienting new students and their guests to campus. Star Guides will help students and guests feel more comfortable, learn more about academic programs, find their way around campus, and discover resources they didn’t even know existed.
Apply to be a Star Guide:
- Apply through Career Connect. This is a University requirement.
- Submit the Google Form Application by March 16, 2025
- Participate in the interview process (interviews the week of March 17 & 23)

Lisa was a first generation college student and found her career pathway when she became an Orientation Leader and eventually worked for the Orientation department as an undergraduate. She has worked in higher education for over 25 years. Her experiences include Orientation, First-Year Seminar Instruction, Student Organizations & Leadership Development, Adult/Transfer/Commuter Student Programming, and Student Activities. Lisa has earned a BS in Advertising and a MS in Higher Education & Student Affairs.
