The Library Learning Center (LLC) is primarily used for educational purposes, including information literacy instruction, training or workshops, study tables, and meetings that require technology. It is overseen and scheduled by the library.
Booking:
The Library Learning Center can be booked by current UIS students, faculty, and staff. Booking requests can be made through the public calendar, are mediated by library staff, and are approved on a first-come first-serve basis. The public calendar is unavailable during the first 2 weeks of each semester, as bookings for information literacy instruction have precedence during this time.
To reserve the use of a room or facility within the library, please refer to our Space Requests page.
Student Organizations:
Student Organizations wanting to use the space should first submit their event request through the UIS Connection system. While doing so, select the Library Learning Center (BRK 230A) as your location. The request for the space will then be reviewed through UIS Connection.
