JJ Joseph, Candidate for Public Affairs & Education Senator
I am seeking the office of Public Affairs & Education Senator to continue work I have done over the last year. As Undergraduate Senator, I have helped in the process of clearly defining minor requirements for students. I have worked on the Student Activities Committee and helped bring excitement to this campus. I am also a member of BMCS and have worked to establish a connection with our lovely diversity center. I have been active in the UIS Community, engaging with students on all types of issues as well as helping to be a voice representing concerns to the Administration. I am someone who has gained the trust and respect from my peers and professors through the advocacy work I have helped to do both on and off campus. With this, I believe I am the best candidate to represent the students from the College of Public Affairs and Education.
