My name is Shamantha Nasika, a graduate student in Management Information Systems at the University of Illinois Springfield. I am excited to express my interest in serving as the Student Representative to the Board of Trustees. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed a deep appreciation for the diverse perspectives that shape our university community. My experiences as a student, international learner, graduate research assistant, and a professional with a background in technology and leadership have equipped me with a unique perspective to understand the needs and aspirations of students.
