Summer Fun Under The Overhang At Brookens Library (Aug. 2)
On Thursday, August 2, we invite staff, students and faculty for more Brookens Library fun “Under the Overhang” as we celebrate Summer before it’s gone. From 11:30AM-1:00PM, the supplies will be provided (until they’re gone), so take a break and stop by to share in some fun summer activities with new and familiar friends at UIS!

Friends of the Library
The Friends of Brookens Library of the University of Illinois Springfield is a service organization established to support the library. It was formed with two major goals in mind:
Display and Special Use Area Policies
Brookens Library allows use of its display case, lower level lounge and other special use areas for University sponsored displays, events and activities that do not disrupt the normal use of the Library. The display case is located on the Main level of the library. Brookens Library adheres to the University of Illinois Springfield's Access and Equal Opportunity policy in making determinations concerning the use of display and special use areas. Library Cards & Borrowing
Library Card for UIS students, faculty, and staff
Your UIS i-card is your library card. Bring it with you every time you come to the library. All students, faculty, and staff must present their current i-card to check out materials.
