Commencement Ceremonies
UIS Commencement ceremonies will be Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Bank of Springfield Center in downtown Springfield. There will be two ceremonies at 12:30 and 5:30 p.m., divided by college and each lasting approximately two hours each. Verify your College here: uis.edu/colleges

The student commencement speaker is an important tradition for UIS. All graduating students are invited to audition for this honor and responsibility. Auditions will be scheduled for ZOOM one week after the deadline. Speeches for the audition should be no longer than five minutes and should be presented in their entirety.
This is the FINAL opportunity for students graduating in Spring 2022 or Summer 2022 who have not already taken the steps outlined below to do so by the posted deadlines. If you have any questions or concerns, please email registrar@uis.edu or call 217-206-7730.
