CFE - Equity, Anti-racism, and Inclusion

How might bias, prejudice, and discrimination harm students, teachers, and the learning environment? What does it mean to have equitable, anti-racist, and inclusive classrooms? UIS is committed to offering fair and inclusive education for everyone, and UIS teachers should be leaders in creating environments that both identify as well as meaningfully and inclusively remedy inequities and injustices. In this session, we will collectively discuss the importance of equity, anti-racism, and inclusion in the classroom, and we will share strategies to promote these goals in all classes, regardless of major or level.
