The deadline for ECCE Speaker Series proposals for events that will take place during the Spring 2025 semester has been extended to Friday, November 8 at 5 p.m.

The Sangamon County Board of Elections will be in the Student Union from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this week for early voting in the 2024 General Election.
NOTE: This polling place is only for residents in the following precincts: Capital 14, 21, 37, 60, 70, 82, 92, Woodside 02 and Woodside 04.
Students registered to vote with a campus address may use this location. On-site voter registration is available.

Please be aware that this Friday, October 25, Parking Lot A will be partially closed for the Trunk or Treat for Canned Goods event.
Although ALL economy and a section of standard parking spaces will remain available for parking, a section of standard parking spaces will be closed to parking for purposes of this event.
Lot J and a section of Lot F will also be closed to campus for parking due to an event being held at the Student Union on Friday, October 25.
The ID Center will be closed on Friday, October 25. Online services, such Campus Cash deposits, will remain available 24/7.

This program for academic professional and professional civil service employees includes a robust group of dynamic speakers, engaging and interactive leadership activities, facility tours, state legislative education, relevant literature reviews, system-wide networking, and a mentor program.

The Promising Prairie Star Recognition Program honors outstanding graduates under the age of forty or those who have graduated within the previous 5 years. Honorees are selected for their emerging and unique innovation, creativity and success in their chosen career and/or life's work. Established by the UIS Young Alumni Committee in 2024, the inaugural class of honorees will be selected and recognized in the Spring of 2025.
