Dear Colleagues,
The Springfield area is forecasted to receive its first significant snowfall Sunday through Monday. The university does not anticipate any changes to campus operations; however, this is the time of year to reacclimate ourselves with UIS’ inclement weather procedures.
As a matter of policy, UIS does not close due to inclement weather except under the most extraordinary conditions. However, periods of inclement weather often result in conditions that make travel difficult and at times hazardous.
Information for Employees:
Join us on Friday, January 31, for a half-day RISE Professional Development Retreat focused on Workplace Communication. Choose from morning or afternoon sessions with the opportunity to enjoy a provided lunch and gain valuable insights from our keynote speaker, Dr. Ashley Lang.
