Annual Evaluation season is coming to an end as of 5:00pm today, June 7th. Please finalize your evaluations and submit them to our office using the evaluation form found on our Performance Evaluation Program website. If you have any questions regarding the form or the status of an evaluation, please reach out to Kenzie Westlake at mwest22@uis.edu.
Join Your Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC): Nomination Forms Available for Election
All status (non-probationary) Civil Service employees are invited to submit online nomination forms for this year's Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC) election.
Eight positions will be filled this year, each for a two year term. Nomination forms must be received by midnight, June 14, in order to be considered. Self-Nominations are allowed and welcomed.

This session will be presented by Dr. Travis Bland, Dr. Anne-Marie Hanson and the Customer Service Improvement Committee (CSIC). This session focuses upon enhancing customer service interactions among students, faculty and employees.
Notice for Election Day 2024
The general election will take place this year on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. This day is not designated as a holiday for universities in Illinois. However, time off to vote may be available in accordance with State of Illinois law.

Right now, too many higher education institutions do not reflect positive and proactive workplace cultures and values. This has a direct impact on the customer service experience of our student, faculty, and staff as well as our broader community.
Protection of Minors
UIS is committed to protecting minors that visit campus so they can enjoy the wonderful events and programs our community offers. For departments that want to offer programs to minors (persons under the age of eighteen (18), our Protection of Minors page has detailed information on planning and hosting an event for young visitors.

FY 2025 Benefit Choice Announcement
The State Department of Central Management Services (CMS) has announced that the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Benefit Choice enrollment period will begin May 1 and end May 31, 2024.
If you do not want to change health, dental, life or dependent coverage, your current elections will continue. Note: You must enroll or re-enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts each year.
