There will be time for questions following the presentations.

During this session, you will hear from me and vice chancellors Vickie Cook and Ken Kriz about our university’s priorities and strategic initiatives, including enrollment and budget.

We had a great start to Homecoming week, but the weather just did not cooperate on Friday. The upside is that the fun continues tonight with the postponed bonfire and fireworks at 8 p.m. I love the sense of community that surrounds Homecoming, and I hope you shared in the fun and excitement by dressing for the theme days, participating in events or attending soccer or volleyball games. Our theme for 2024 is Legacy Ignited, and we have a full schedule of events and theme days to engage and unite our entire campus community. I am happy to announce that Gabe Cagwin, PhD, will be the new vice chancellor for advancement at UIS, pending Board of Trustees approval. Gabe will serve as vice-chancellor designate until anticipated BOT action in November. He will also serve as senior vice president for the University of Illinois Foundation.
