Clark Morgan says he chose the University of Illinois Springfield “because of the hometown feel, the high-level baseball program and the unbeatable value of education here.” He plays on the UIS baseball team and is a member of the Capital Scholars Honors Program (CAP). He is a CAP peer mentor and part of the steering committee. He’s also a member of the Speech and Debate team, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and is working to restart the Pre-Health Society. Asked what he most likes about UIS, he said “I really appreciate that all of my professors and coaches care about my wellbeing inside and out of the classroom or field.” Following graduation from UIS, Morgan plans to attend dental school.
Leadership is lived at UIS. Every day.
