Future Plans: Pursue a master's degree to obtain a career in sports psychology

Taytum Scarborough enjoys the University of Illinois Springfield for various reasons. “What I like most at UIS are the friendships I have made, the athletic community and the sunsets,” she said. Scarborough is a part of the Capital Scholars Honors Program and on the women’s soccer team. When asked why she chose UIS, she said, “to continue my athletic career and also receive my degree at a school not too far from home.” Following graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree to obtain a career in sports psychology.
