Future Plans: Work for a public relations agency
Cristian Leon-Vallejo chose the University of Illinois Springfield because of the small class size ratio. “It’s easy to move around campus and you feel more comfortable and connected with teachers and peers,” he said. Leon-Vallejo is president of Ritmo, Flow y Son and Balie Monacras. He also serves as marketing director for the Resident Housing Association and treasurer for the Organization of Latin American Students and Baking Club. When asked what he likes most about UIS, he said the organizations and opportunities on campus. “There really is quite a bit of activities and opportunities to do here,” he said. Following graduation from UIS, he plans on working for a public relation company.
Leadership is lived at UIS. Every Day.
