Join colleagues from across central Illinois for this session during which we will hear about the Google Earth platform. The Google Earth platform is a giant 3D rendering of planet Earth. It combines satellite imagery with photos taken on the ground, allowing for both aerial and ground-level views from all over the world. In this session, we will learn how Google Earth can be used in both face-to-face and online classes. We will explore not only the possibilities for lessons within various disciplines but also the practical logistics of how to build assignments that incorporate Google Earth.
