Future Plans: Earn a master’s degree in human resource management
Arianna Boyd enjoys the small class sizes and close-knit community at the University of Illinois Springfield. On campus, she is a resident assistant for UIS Residence Life, financial secretary for the Upsilon Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a mentor in the Necessary Steps Mentoring Program. Boyd grew to love the campus community while visiting her two older siblings at UIS, while she was still in high school. “Since the campus is so small there is a family atmosphere that you can’t help but to be a part of, which is something I really like about UIS. It has grown to be a home away from home,” she said. Following graduation from UIS, Boyd plans to earn her master’s degree in human resource management.
Leadership is lived at UIS. Every day.
