Collin Moseley has known since eighth grade that he wanted a career in politics. He chose the University of Illinois Springfield because of its location in the state capital, connections to state government and smaller class sizes. As a sophomore, Moseley is currently working as a committee clerk for the Illinois House of Representatives. On campus, he’s a senator-at-large on the UIS Student Government Association, a member of the Student Organization Funding Association (SOFA), Student Advocacy Coalition, Christian Student Fellowship worship band (guitar) and a representative on the UIS Coalition Builders Board. He’s also a member of Model Illinois Government and the Military and Veterans’ Club. Following graduation from UIS, he plans “to use my degree, and my experiences gained from UIS to continue my path towards a career in politics, and legislation.”
Leadership is lived at UIS. Every day.
