University of Illinois Center for Lincoln Studies announced multiple significant achievements and upcoming events that will further illuminate the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln.

University of Illinois Springfield, in collaboration with Innovate Springfield, its dynamic business incubator in downtown Springfield, is creating a new high-tech lab and class to teach high school students how to turn their innovative product ideas into reality.

Please be aware that Parking Lot E will be closed from early morning through 12:00 PM today, Friday, February 2 so that school children may safely enter the UIS Performing Arts Center for the school performances of Books on Stage. Thank you.

UIS Commencement is 100 days away, and our Commencement Committee is hard at work planning this year’s ceremonies, slated for May 10 and 11.

This year’s ceremonies will take place on campus in the UIS Performing Arts Center. To accommodate as many guests as possible for our graduates, we will be holding three ceremonies:

Facilities & Services recently wrapped up several renovation and revitalization projects, including Anatomage Teaching and Learning Labs, the UHB 2029 Computer Lab Renovation, and the Food Pantry Renovation and Relocation, just to name a few. A handful of completed projects are highlighted in the following sections.
