UIS Soccer to Host Cancer Awareness Games on Nov. 3

UIS Athletics, in partnership with Springfield Clinic and the American Cancer Society, will dedicate the soccer doubleheader against the Lewis Flyers on Sunday, Nov. 3 as the annual Cancer Awareness Games. Informational tables will be set up near the gate to Kiwanis Stadium, providing resources and information about cancer awareness and prevention.
Additionally, the first 100 fans will receive white beanies, and attendees are encouraged to "White Out for Lung Cancer" by wearing white to the games.

The UIS men's soccer team is poised to wrap up the regular season this weekend as they aim to secure a return to the GLVC Tournament. The Prairie Stars will face Upper Iowa on Friday night at 7:30 p.m., followed by a matchup against Lewis on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Friday's game will be Senior Night, while Sunday's game will be Faculty & Staff Appreciation and the annual Cancer Awareness Game. UIS Men’s Golf Wraps Up Play at Bill Crabtree Invitational in Kentucky

The UIS men's golf team faced challenging competition at the Bill Crabtree Invitational, hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan on Oct. 28-29. Playing at The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Kentucky, the Prairie Stars competed in a strong NCAA Division II field, ultimately gaining valuable experience as they finished their fall season.
