The UIS athletic department has announced that single-game tickets for the 2024-25 basketball season are now available for purchase. Season tickets are still available for purchase through the HomeTown Ticketing platform.

On Saturday, Oct. 12, at 10:30 a.m., the UIS women's cross country team will compete in the 6k race at the Lewis Crossover meet in Romeoville, Ill. Hosted by conference rival Lewis University, this annual event presents a significant challenge for the Prairie Stars as they face a range of Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) teams among other strong regional competition.

Jake Baldin of UIS men's golf has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Player of the Week after his standout performance at the Flyers Fall Intercollegiate tournament at the start of the week, where he tied for second place. His exceptional play was a crucial factor in helping the UIS men's golf team finish tied for fourth out of 17 teams.
