The silent auction and benefit, featuring original works of art donated by local and regional artists, will launch online on Monday, Nov. 13, and remain live through final bidding at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7. |

Molly Harms of Springfield has been selected as the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) student recipient of the Student Laureate Award from the Lincoln Academy of Illinois. Only one UIS student is honored with the prestigious award each academic year. “When I found out I received the award I felt so honored, surprised and excited,” said Harms, a 2020 graduate of Springfield High School. |

On Wednesday, November 8, the UIS Office of Advancement is hosting the UIS Scholarship luncheon at the Student Union. Therefore, please be aware, on Wednesday, November 8, Parking Lot J and a section of Lot F will be closed to campus for parking due to this event. PERKS spaces remain available for PERKS permit members to park in their designated space. On this date, please make sure to plan accordingly and utilize alternate parking lots authorized by your parking hang tag. Thank you for your cooperation. |
