We don’t just write these blogs, post them, and never look at them again. We’re trying to create and engage in a thoughtful dialogue among our peers.

Springfield High School student, Nishi Korrapati, has followed her curiosity and engaged in research regarding local sustainable fashion trends.  These trends are in direct response to environmental woes.  Advised by MMO Professor Dr. Shipra Gupta, read more about this research (pdf).

UIS Health Services and the Sangamon County Department of Public Health are offering flu shots to the UIS community from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4 and 9 a.m.-noon on Wednesday, Nov. 8, located in the UIS Performing Arts Center 1st Floor Board Room (formerly PAC E).
