Daniel Giacomini Named GLVC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

On Wednesday, the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) league office announced that UIS sophomore Daniel Giacomini has been honored as the GLVC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week following an impressive performance at the Bradley Pink Classic. Leading the Prairie Stars on Saturday, Giacomini completed the 8K race in 26:34, achieving a personal best by 27 seconds. His finish placed him 56th overall in a highly competitive field. |
