The College of Education at UIUC is holding the 2023 Graduate Student Conference on March 3, 2023. We are reaching out to invite the graduate students to share their work on the impact of Covid 19 on technology development,  innovations, and implementation.  As most of the schools turned to virtual learning during the covid-19 pandemic, we had to rely on technology for school and work.  Students are welcome to share their work related to technology innovation and students’ learning or any other related work at the conference.

SPRINGFIELD, IL (December 14, 2022) - UIS's Speech and Debate Team attended their fourth tournament of the 22-23 competition season. The Online Asynchronous Tournament Series (OATS) is a season long set of competitions hosted asynchronously by Southwest Minnesota State University. The OATS 4 tournament took place from December 5th through December 9th and had 49 teams from across the nation in attendance.

The University of Illinois Springfield has finalized the purchase of a downtown building that will serve as the new home of the UIS Innovation Center.

The center will take over the three-story, 24,600-square-foot Illinois Sheriffs' Association building at 401 E. Washington St.

University of Illinois trustees approved $950,000 for the building purchase earlier this summer.
