UHB Elevator Temporarily Out of Service

Dear Campus Community, We want to inform you that the elevator nearest the women's restrooms in the University Hall Building (UHB) has been temporarily taken out of service for repair. We anticipate the repair will be completed in 2-3 days, but we will send out an update if the repair extends beyond this timeframe. Greetings Campus Community, Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 21, our Facilities & Services crews will be conducting a plumbing repair in Tower 1 of the Public Affairs Center (PAC), and water will be temporarily shut off from approximately 6:00 am to 9:30 am. UIS is waiving application fees for some area community college students

The following story was published by NPR Illinois on Feb. 20, 2024. The University of Illinois Springfield will waive the application fee for students from three area community colleges starting with the fall semester. UIS will waive the $50 fee for transfer students applying from Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Richland Community College in Decatur and Illinois Central College in East Peoria. The fee waiver will be automatically applied to transfer applications. |
