UIS students trick-or-treat for a cause

University of Illinois Springfield students went trick-or-treating for a cause Sunday. Seven teams of students traveled around the Capital City asking for canned food donations to be donated to the Central Illinois Food Bank. The Alpha Alpha Gamma chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education, at the University of Illinois Springfield inducted 11 new members during a ceremony in the Studio Union on Sunday, Oct. 17. Dustin Day, superintendent at Carthage Elementary School District #317, was the guest speaker. |
