UIS faculty and staff are invited to honor this year's recipient of the prestigious University Scholars Award on Monday, September 30, in the Student Union Ballroom.

After the first 10 days of classes, University of Illinois Springfield enrollment remains stable for Fall Semester 2024 with 4,628 students enrolled, compared to 4,661 students last year. Notably, the number of new first-year freshmen, first-time transfer students and online students increased.

We are pleased to announce the availability again this year of one-time (non-recurring) funds to support implementation of good ideas from UIS staff and faculty. A wide range of ideas will be considered with the goal to fund projects with broad impact to the University.
