Adjunct Hire Requests

UIS routinely seeks competent, qualified professionals to teach on a per-course (adjunct) basis. Departments/Schools may send forward requests to hire, or requests to add to the adjunct pool for future use, those individuals who not only possess outstanding credentials and experience in their fields, but also have the desire to share their expertise with our students.

Adjunct Opportunities

The University of Illinois Springfield has occasional need for individuals to teach on a per-course, or “adjunct” basis. Qualified individuals are welcome to apply to one or more units. Units will periodically review applications in our Cornerstone application system and may reach out to applicants whose qualifications and experience align with their needs when a need arises.
