UIS Theatre and the Luis Alfaro Residency Project (UIC), along with UIS’ “Our Stage, Our Voices” project, invite you to a special conversation with Associate Professor of Theatre Missy Thibodeaux-Thompson, “Our Stage, Our Voices” artist-in-residence Reggie Guyton, and Guest Artist, playwright Luis Alfaro (USC). They will share insights from their own experiences, and discuss the intersection of the arts, activism, community outreach, and creative collaboration.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2022-2024 OPEL Faculty Fellows Program. The OPEL Faculty Fellows program builds upon the success of the COLRS Faculty Fellows Program by providing expanded research and service opportunities that align with the mission of OPEL.
The Human Resources Office will be hosting an End of Academic Year Faculty & Staff Party to celebrate the close of another successful academic year at UIS.
Please join us on May 16th from 11am-1pm for food, music, and games on the Student Union North Patio and Quad. Release time will be in effect for this event. A little bird told us there might even be funnel cakes and lemonade shakeups on the menu!
