The Enrollment & Retention Management Division has several websites to share for the latest Enrollment and Retention Management information. These sites have many updated links and include a current version of the ERM Strategic Plan, as well as an updated Admissions Recruitment Plan.
This policy will be effective for new students entering UIS beginning with the Fall 2023 and beyond. Current or continuing students will not have changes made to negatively impact their current aid packages.

The University Illinois Springfield will offer in-state tuition to out-of-state students from the St. Louis and Quad Cities areas starting in Fall Semester 2024. The University of Illinois Board of Trustees approved the three-year pilot tuition program at its July 20 meeting in Chicago.
