A section of Richard Wright Drive will be closed Friday, October 6 from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm for the Homecoming Pep Rally Block party.

The University of Illinois Springfield is launching the Prairie Promise, a new four-year financial aid program for Illinois residents that will fully cover the cost of tuition and fees for first-time, first-year undergraduate students enrolled full time in on-campus degree programs starting in Fall 2024.

The University of Illinois Springfield will offer more than 60 accelerated courses in a variety of formats, including online and on-campus, for prospective and current students. All classes will begin Monday, Oct. 23, and will conclude in December.  

Forbes has named the University of Illinois Springfield’s human services master’s degree a top online program for 2023. The degree prepares students for management and leadership positions in the growing human and social services fields.
