Quincy Tops UIS Women’s Basketball 80-64 in BoS Rivalry Cup Showdown

The UIS women's basketball team put up a strong fight but ultimately fell to Quincy, 80-64, in the BoS Rivalry Cup at TRAC on Saturday afternoon. The game was competitive throughout the first half, with both teams exchanging the lead, but Quincy pulled away in the second half with a decisive scoring run. UIS drops to 3-11, 2-5 in the GLVC, while Quincy improves to 10-5, 4-2 in conference play.

Prairie Stars Fall 83-78 in Rivalry Game Against Quincy

The UIS men's basketball team was narrowly defeated by Quincy, 83-78, in the BoS Rivalry Cup on Saturday afternoon at TRAC. UIS held a 39-31 lead at halftime, but Quincy seized control in the second half to come away with the victory. The Prairie Stars dropped to 7-8 overall and 2-5 in GLVC play, while Quincy improved to 7-7, 2-4 in conference action.
