The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery presents “Inter | Action,” a group exhibition featuring works by an all-women roster of five visual arts students as they prepare to transition from student artists to emerging professionals.

The University of Illinois Springfield College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences is part of a $25,000 National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) grant aimed at helping public colleges and universities navigate the world of artificial intelligence.

The Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) has mandated that all public institutions of higher learning write an equity plan, which is due in May. Dr. Tena Helton is heading this effort for the UIS campus. 

Dr. Helton and the UIS Equity Planning Taskforce invite the campus community to attend an open forum to review the 2024 UIS Equity Plan.  Two forums will be held: 

WHAT: The University of Illinois Springfield Center for State Policy and Leadership (CSPL), the University of Illinois System Institute of Government and Public Affairs (IGPA) and the Illinois Innovation Network (IIN) will present two days of presentations, discussion and networking around policy and social innovation. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided. Registration is required.
