This two-day event is open to the public for all UIS employees and students. |

In July 2024, COLRS partnered with Human Resources to present the App Café for the Rise Employment Development series. This was a come-and-go opportunity to have a little fun learning about new apps that colleagues across UIS use for productivity, fun, lifestyle, hobbies, finance, and news/reading. We were very grateful to have volunteers from our campus community share some apps that they love, and we hope you love them, too! |
UIS to offer four new medical laboratory science certificates to meet local health care needs

The University of Illinois Springfield will offer four new medical laboratory science (MLS) certificates starting in August to address the critical shortage of certified laboratory specialists in central Illinois. Certificates will be offered in clinical chemistry, hematology, immunohematology and medical microbiology. |
Fall 2024 UIS Men’s Soccer Schedule Revealed

The UIS men's soccer program has released its schedule for the fall 2024 campaign, its first season under the leadership of Head Coach Graham Shaw.
The team will play two scrimmages early on, the first at Illinois College on Aug. 21 and the second at home versus Millikin on Aug 23.
